Quality Coordinator

Summary: Coordinates and supports quality assurance processes, initiatives, continuous improvement and customer fulfillment. Assists operations and quality management to ensure process control and product conformity is satisfied in accordance with established procedures and policies. Supports organization by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate and conduct Internal Audits within an AS9100 certified Quality environment
Work with Customers/Vendors, and interdepartmental groups to document and complete Corrective Actions including:
  • Identification of a clear/concise problem description
    Root cause analysis/investigation
    Implementation of containment steps / processing of non-conforming material
    Identification of both Corrective & Preventive Action steps needed to prevent recurrence
    Formal closure and verification of effectiveness of CA/PA
    Corrective Action Database utilization
    Portal-based Customer C/A interaction
    Gather and report monthly key process indicators (KPI)
    Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance programs
    Perform visual and dimensional inspections of received, in-process, and finished product to meet predetermined quality specifications and standards. Drive inspection methodology improvement
    Provide support toward the development / revision of inspection process method documents
    Assist quality / production in process investigations as they relate to quality issues
    Effectively navigate company ERP system including: Inventory Module, Order Entry Module, Purchasing Module, Production Order Module
    Maintain quality records, i.e., inspection records, first article inspection, nonconforming material records, etc. using company computer / database systems
    Upkeep documentation package in accordance with QMS requirements through generation, revision, and release of formal procedures and work instructions
    Develop and conduct company-wide QMS training
    Participate in company sponsored training and process improvement activities
    Comply with all ICC Policies as defined in the ICC Employee Handbook
    Adhere to all applicable elements of ICC Quality Management System
    Additional Preferred Knowledge includes the following:
    Experience in an ISO9000 work environment. (AS9100 knowledge / background a plus)
    ISO or AS Auditor Certification
    Familiarity with Regulatory / Statutory directives and/or guidelines
    Experience in (value-add) product assembly techniques, processes and work instructions
    Ability to read / interpret drawings and technical specifications
    Working knowledge of root cause driven corrective action

    Education/Experience:
    College degree, with minimum 2 years experience in Quality disciplineLanguage Ability:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    Ability to write simple correspondence
    Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
    Computer Skills:
    Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Power Point
    Certificates and Licenses:
    ISO or AS Auditor Certification
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


  • Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
